Zips Visit Days
Attending a Zips Visit Day event is a great way to start or continue your college search. Join us at The University of Akron this fall to get an in depth look at our student support services, your academic major of interest, opportunities for real world experience, and campus life. During the event, you also will meet the admissions team, tour our beautiful campus, and check out some of our most popular residence halls. This event is the perfect opportunity to talk with faculty, current students and staff who are here to guide your journey to becoming forever a Zip!
Some of the activities we have in store for you during the Zips Visit Day include:
8:30 a.m. Check-In
8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. – Before Welcome Session Activities include
- Campus Tours
- Student Services Information Fair
- Information Sessions
10:45 to 1:30 p.m. – After Welcome Session Activities include
- Academic Breakout Session
- Application Station
- Residence Hall Open House
- Complimentary lunch for students
- Campus Tours (If you didn’t take the campus tour earlier.)
